Services Overview

As both educators and clinicians, MovES Ltd directors work with individual clients, groups, teams, etc, develop stratehies which are protective, simultaneously encompass preventive requirements and are readily expandable (as necessary) to provide therapeutic, rehabilitative and/or self-management support.

An integrated package of personal exploration and development offers opportunities to each person for (progressively) optimising his/her own movement potential, and assist in the:

  • prevention of health problems;
  • reduction of dysfunction in both working and everyday life
  • care and management of signs and symptoms such as pain and discomfort, etc
via the application of Efficient Movement

A series of related study opportunities and pathways have also been developed over time. The primary aim of these is to support personal self-care; depending upon the study pathway followed knowledge and skills are progressively developed to provide and increasingly empower each person by increasing efficacy in their own health, safety and well-being.

As progression through the pathway occurs opportunities arise for those who may require to support others in gaining such knowledge and skills eg in clinical therapeutic and rehabilitative arenas, manual handling trainers etc. The common intentions concern reducing potential for injury, supporting the development of safer movement into daily life routine and encouraging all to be proactive with regards to their own health, safety and well-being.

Other programmes, specifically tailored to address particular requirements can also be developed. For example, in relation to the workplace and for :
  • individual healthcare professionals (for self-care and/ or application in therapy, rehabilitation, functional capacity assessment, work-hardening etc);

  • providers of practical movement-related Health & Safety input (including Manual Handling training);

  • care service personnel;

  • industrial workers;

  • assisting organisations in developing programmes to promote employees' safety, health and well-being

relevant input is developed through:

  • assessment of specific organisational, group and/or employee needs;
  • integrating available resources and developing strategies to meet formal legislative and/or professional demands as well as personal/ self-care requirements in: assessing, monitoring and controlling risk.

In addition to the existing range of study opportunities and pathways individually tailored programmes to address particular requirements can be developed, again with the intention of reducing potential for injury, supporting the development of safer movement into daily life routine and encouraging all to be proactive with regards to their own health, safety and well-being - and to be supportive of others in doing so.

MovES Ltd's service delivery is based on defined professional principles: Passion, Integrity and Excellence.

Input is facilitated by experienced professionals who focus on providing employees with relevant and current information in a positive environment to encourage sustainable outcomes: content and methods are reviewed and monitored as part of quality assurance and control.
