Looking for a NMAHM® practitioner?

A register of recognised practitioners will be developed as part of MANAS activity.

Any questions regarding practitioner status in relation to the NMAHM® should currently be directed to either MovES Ltd or MANAS .

MANAS Membership List and Register

The NMAHM® is a defined intellectual property protected by copyright and related legislation.

To assist with issues of upholding the requirements associated with gaining permission to use, using materials derived from the trademarked property and developing standardisation all individuals and companies who are using, promoting or practising the NMAHM® within professional practice or business are required to be registered with MANAS.

Members' details are stored in accordance to the Data Protection Act 1998 (amended 2003).

Any prospective purchaser of NMAHM® and/ or related services offered to be provided by an individual/company is encouraged to contact MANAS to ensure that the selected service provider is appropriately registered to provide such services.

General and Registered Members

Members are responsible at all times for complying with the Terms & Conditions of Registration as a condition of continuing membership.

Membership/ Registration may be revoked should there be any failure in compliance with such Terms & Conditions or other significant action which may be deemed to be harmful to the NMAHM®, the originators, co-developers and/ or practitioners.

Whilst MANAS will attempt to inform members of their Registration status and due dates for renewal, it is the sole and direct responsibility of each individual/company to ensure that Registration is kept up to date.

FAQ's

Q. I have attended a MovES Ltd course in the past and use the NMAHM® only for my own benefit. Do I require to be Registered?

A. No. Only individuals/companies who are, or may be deemed to be advising, supervising or giving information to others require Registration. It is however suggested that you join MANAS in order that you can be supported with regard to what you have gained so far, and updated as necessary.

Q. I have come across individuals/ companies who appear to be using at least some parts of the NMAHM®, although they are not calling it this. Are they allowed to do this?

A. No. The legal concern is infringement of intellectual property legislation. Professional issues concern at least factors of dishonesty, plagiarism and overall behaviour inappropriate for a professional person. Associated concerns will also include issues related to evidence-based practice: if more than one system/ method informs a practice it usually associates with at least inconsistency in thinking, reasoning etc., and would generally disallow any claim of a valid evidence base for practice.

No-one may use parts of the NMAHM® until/unless due permissions have been sought and granted. Failure to do so carries the risk of causing professional or if necessary, legal action to be raised and pursued.

Permission to use/ pass on any information known to associate with MovES Ltd and/ or the NMAHM® will not be granted to persons/ organisations until/ unless they are a member of MANAS, and at a required level which conforms to the professional activity for which information is intended to support.
